28—Lunch Lady and the Cyborg Substitute by Jarrett J. Krosoczka

In this charming graphic novel, author Krosoczka tells a tale of the super hero Lunch Lady (LL) who ferrets out evil wherever it is (especially if it is in her school). Assisting LL in the lunchroom and in fighting crime is her very own "Q" (Betty) who makes nifty devices with which she (LL) uses to fight crime.

LL & Betty learn that Mr. Pasteur, the hated substitute for the very popular math teacher, Mr. O'Connell, is in fact a robot, an evil cyborg. It seems the Mr. Edison, the science teacher is jealous of O'Connell's popularity with students and has created a faculty of cyborg substitutes with which he plans to take over the school faculty and thus win the favorite teacher of the year award.

Of course, LL and Betty foil the plot and save the day.
