10—The Edge of Justice by Clinton McKinzie

Antonio Burns is first and foremost a climber. He, and his brother Roberto, learned to climb from their career miltary officer father, first in Wyoming and then all over the world. 18 months ago he killed 3 gang members and is now facing a wrongful death civil law suit. He has returned to Laramie, with his huge dog, a Mastiff, named Oso, to investigate the "accidental" death of a female climber.

His investigation turns into a murder investigation and he exposes a corrupt sheriff and a county attorney (and wanna be Governor) and an inept, if not colluding, medical examiner.

Burns takes us on a thrilling chase up the side of huge rock wall in search of evidence and finally the killer.

(Book on tape while traveling to Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.)
