06-The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson

This is the third in Stieg Larsson's trilogy. It's a gripping story of the political and justice systems in Sweden. It is a thriller in the best tradition of Le Carre, Grisham, et al.

Lisbeth Salander has been unjustly accused of 3 murders and has been labeled a lesbian satinist bitch the press and some police. She is hounded by the police, the public, and a secret organization within the Swedish version of the CIA/FBI.

It is only through the efforts of Mikael Blomkvist and a few ethical policemen that she is ultimately vindicated.

The other books in the trilogy are The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the Girl Who Played with Fire.
