Virginia Shreve is an overweight teen in a private high school. She lives in a Manhattan apartment with her well-to-do parents. Her mother is a child psychologist and her father a software engineer. Her oldest sibling, Anais, has graduated college and is spending two years in Burkina Faso with the Peace Corps. Her older brother, Byron, is freshman at Columbia.
When her brother is thrown out of school for date rape, Virginia's world is turned upside down.
This is a good story, good characters, and a fast read.
