34—The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

The Circus is unlike any other. It arrives without warning and seemingly appears overnight. It is open only at night and is populated by acts of fantasy, magic, illusion, and dreams.

The main characters, Celia and Marco, are engaged in a magical battle from which only one of them will survive. The rules of the contest have been established by their mentors who have engaged them in this contest without defining its parameters.

This is a well-written and engrossing novel. It is a love story, a story of magic, and of dreams.
